WHAT A CLARITY CALL ACTUALLY IS
Before you book — read this
01
15 minutes
A focused conversation — enough to understand your situation and figure out whether working together makes sense before anyone commits to anything.
02
No sales pitch
I'll tell you honestly what I think is the right approach — including if that's not personal training with me. The goal is the right fit, not a filled slot.
03
Come with context
Think about your training history, what's worked, what hasn't, and where you're stuck. The more specific you are, the more useful the conversation.
04
No pressure to decide
If we're a good fit I'll recommend a starting point. You don't need to commit on the call — take the time you need to think it through.
IS THIS CALL RIGHT FOR YOU
Who books a movement clarity call
01
You want to get stronger — and actually know why what you're doing works
You're done with generic programs. You want programming built around your body, your movement patterns, and your goals — with the reasoning explained, not just the prescription.
02
You're dealing with pain, injury, or movement patterns that aren't improving
You've been managing around something — a knee, a shoulder, a hip — and it's limiting what you can do. You want to train around it intelligently, not just avoid it indefinitely.
03
You're an athlete who needs S&C support that actually understands your sport
You train for a sport, not just for aesthetics. You need programming that builds the right physical qualities for your event without burning you out or conflicting with your sport training.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you book
Do I need to be based in Nelson BC to work with you?
In-person training requires Nelson BC. Remote program-only memberships via TrainHeroic are available to anyone, anywhere. We can figure out which applies to you on the call.
I'm a complete beginner — is this still for me?
Yes. The Foundations membership is designed for people who are starting from scratch. The clarity call will help determine whether that's the right starting point for you specifically.
I have an injury. Can you still train me?
Often yes. I have experience working around chronic pain, injury history, and movement limitations. Tell me what you're dealing with on the call and I'll give you an honest answer about what's possible.
What's the Nelson Boxing Club?
The Nelson Boxing Club is where I coach strength and conditioning in Nelson BC. It's a real training environment — not a commercial gym. In-person training sessions take place there.
